Volunteering - Library Attendant

Read and play games with children. Organize our library circulation. And spark the joy of reading!

Our shelter has a lovely library available for our clients and their children! Books, games, and videos for many interests. The free and easy access to this library can provide much-needed fun for the children and a relief for the parents. 

We are looking for a rotating group of volunteers to come once a week to volunteer at our shelter's library. Duties can include reading activities and/or games with the children, maintaining library forms, organizing and cleaning the library, etc.

-- Volunteer Requirements --

All volunteers are required to undergo and pass a background check. 

All volunteers are required to attend a 1-hour training with our Volunteer Coordinator 

All volunteers are required to complete necessary trainings that the Volunteer Coordinator will provide within the first two weeks of volunteer activity.
