Transportation

When transporting clients for work-related purposes, they must adhere to specific prerequisites.

Individuals are only permitted to provide client transportation if they:

• Possess a valid driver’s license. A copy of their driver’s license must be included in their file.

• Only drive a vehicle that has been registered with the appropriate governmental motor vehicle oversight board

• Maintain appropriate insurance always up to date

• Observe all federal, state, and local traffic, safety, and vehicular laws

• Not drive the vehicle under the influence of any substances, including the influence of prescription medications which may cause drowsiness or the influence of alcohol at or under the legal blood alcohol content limit

• Not use any electronic communication devices while operating the vehicle
