The Literacy Center of West Michigan helps adults gain the reading and language skills they need to thrive at work, at home, and in the community. As a volunteer literacy coach, you’ll be matched one-on-one with an adult learner to meet weekly and work on their individual goals. You don’t need teaching experience—just a willingness to help. With training, materials, and staff support provided, volunteering is a meaningful and flexible way to make a lasting impact in someone’s life.
