Family Futures - Large Mailing Prep
Listed by 2026 Holiday Giving Guide
About
Family Futures delivers mail to each family with a new baby in Kent County at 2 months and 4 months. We send up to 1400 pieces of mail every month. Our recurring volunteers prepare envelopes with 3-5 items such as program flyers, enrollment forms, etc. on a weekly basis throughout the school year and additional special event or one time volunteer groups help us stock up on those for the summer months.
Family Futures can accommodate up to 25 in our office spread across three conference rooms, or with more advance notice and coordination we can reserve a larger room for groups of 25+. Business hours are preferred but evening and weekend volunteer shifts can be scheduled depending on staff coverage. A popular option is to have materials dropped off at your location for volunteers to work on site, and we pick up the completed work.
This task consists of folding, stuffing envelopes, and counting and is great for any age range and ability level.
