Reach out and Read Volunteers

Listed by Cherry Health

About

Join Cherry Health in supporting early childhood literacy through our Reach Out and Read Program. Volunteers will help sort, organize, and refill children’s books across various Cherry Health locations to ensure families have consistent access to high quality reading materials. This role includes categorizing books by age group, genre, and type, restocking waiting rooms and exam rooms, and maintaining documentation of what books were distributed.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy organization, love children’s literature, and want to make a meaningful impact on young readers and families in our community. Training is provided, and scheduling is flexible.  The time commitment is 10-15 hours a week anytime M-F from 8a-5p.

Once the application is received, you will be contacted via email/phone to start a criminal background check and complete some compliance documents for our regulatory bodies.
